Martin Östman
Martin Östman is a versatile musician and creator who moves seamlessly between jazz double bass, digital production, and physical performing arts. As a co-founder of the acclaimed group Sirqus Alfon, he has toured the world—from the streets of Berlin to major stages in China and the USA—with performances that blend technology, interaction, and "unbridled insanity."
Over the years, Martin has established himself on the Swedish performing arts scene through collaborations with Riksteatern, Kulturhuset Stadsteatern, and the children’s dance institution Zebradans. His work is defined by a drive to explore the intersection of music, magic, and playful storytelling, driven by a lifelong love for the power of music to surprise and unite.

September 19, 2026, Sirqus Alfon is premiering ”Football Dramatics”. A wild tribute to football through circus, technology and magic.
Football Dramatics is a boisterous and musical tribute to football through circus, technology and magic. In this high-octane show, football culture is boiled down to a fast-paced experience, choreographed by the Argentinian Alfono Barón from Poyo Rojo. It includes everything from the storms of emotion in a packed arena, to iconic goals and graceful goal gestures, where the audience becomes a central part of the game – just like in a decisive match.
On stage, dressed in glamorous football uniforms, stands one of Sirqus Alfons' founders, Erik Rosales, together with circus star Aaron Hakala, actor Siri Hamari and mime Ana Stanišiĉ. Together they form a team consisting of some of Sweden's foremost physical artists – now for the first time in a joint production.

February 20, 2026, marks an exciting milestone with two simultaneous releases:
• "Jazz på föris" (Jazz for Preschool): A new musical project where jazz meets the youngest listeners in a playful and inspiring environment. This release is an extension of Martin’s passion for making high-quality music accessible to children.
• "Sånger med TAKK" (UR/SVT Barn): At the same time, this series premieres on Sweden's national broadcaster (SVT/Barnkanalen). The program focuses on TAKK (Signs as Alternative and Augmentative Communication), merging the joy of music with inclusivity and pedagogy.
